Empire Recording Studios is a state of the art audio facility in the heart of Guildford, Surrey housing some of the finest analog and digital technology, both modern and vintage in design.


Sam Burden and his team of Sound Engineers run a rapidly expanding, diverse programme of recording opportunities with established relationships with major record companies.

I have recorded three albums over a four year period - 2012 - 2016 at the studios.

Keyboard Player is a successful UK based Keyboard Forum, Organ and Piano Club For Keyboard Music Creators and Listeners created by Barry Cowles and Judy Short.


I am a Moderator of this Forum.

Judy is a very talented US based musician who creates superb arrangements on her keyboards and also performs vocals - and duets with Barry Cowles.

Judy is Joint Administrator of the hugely successful UK based music forum - Keyboard Player

Barry Cowles is a superb musician with a large and varied repertoire of music.  He also performs very fine vocals.


Barry is also the Creator and Owner of the successful UK based forum called Keyboard Player

Judy Short and Barry Cowles have a wonderful collection of stunning duets which they have created together on a variety of keyboards, Barry's selection of guitars and also vocal duets.

The Yamaha Club provides a bi-monthly glossy magazine for Yamaha enthusiasts compiled by top UK players and teachers.


The Yamaha Club also holds an annual Yamaha Club Weekend where the top Yamaha professional provide three evenings of top class concerts.

The Tyros Tipsters are David Cooper and Chris Hammond from The One Man Band Shop in Banbury, Oxon.


They are product specialists for Yamaha keyboards and digital pianos and provide an unbeatable level of service to their customers.

OrganFax is the household name amongst organ and keyboard enthusiast providing a wealth of information and useful resources related to music making, news, articles, directories etc.

Andrew Gilbert

Andrew Gilbert is both a Music Teacher and Computer Specialist from Eastbourne, Sussex and has many years experience of performing, publishing and teaching.   He teaches at Bonners Music in Eastbourne and he is also part of the Admin Team as a Moderator on Yamaha Keyboard Enthusiasts.

Dom Alfred is a Sussex based fellow musican and friend and creates some wonderful musical arrangements and has fine vocals.

The PSR Tutorial is for owners of Yamaha arranger keyboards from professional to amateur providing useful information on how to get the most of their keyboard.


PSR hosts one of the most comprehensive sections of technical advice online and is well respected in the world of music forums.

Woking Symphony Orchestra, conductor Roy Stratford, who gives interesting and informative talks before each concert.

The Pastel Society is a registered charity, widely recognised for its success in promoting and encouraging the use of pastel within the contemporary art world.   


The Society was founded in 1898, and the first exhibition held in the Royal Institute in Piccadilly. Founder members and early exhibitors included Brangwyn, Degas, Rodin, Rothenstein, Whistler and G.F. Watts.

Guildford Art Society was founded in 1926 and has a current membership of 300 artists practising and non-practising,amateur and professional. The Society offers a full programme of demonstrations, talks, workshops and two exhibitions annually.

The Hindhead Music Centre is a school of excellence for musical tuition for all, from toddlers to pensioners, beginners to advanced situated in the beautiful surroundings of the Surrey hills, attracting students from Haslemere, Midhurst, Godalming, Farnham, Guildford, Liphook, Petersfield and Alton and as far afield as London and the Isle of Wight.


HMC currently offers music tuition for most instruments including piano, singing, guitar – classical and electric, violin, viola, cello, doublebass, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, saxophone, brass, harp and drums., as well as offering voice training, music theory, orchestras, wind bands and choirs for both children and adults.


The beautiful Recital Room hosts concerts with artists of international repute on a regular basis featuring artists such as James Lisney, Martin Tirimo, Peter Katin,  Stephen Isserlis, Dame Emma Kirkby, Peter Donohoe, Jack Brymer, Marisa Robles, Tommy Reilly and the Coull Quartet, to mention but a few.
