Ingredients :
-
20 small shrimp (peeled, deveined, tail off)
-
20 wonton wrappers
-
4 oz cream cheese (softened)
-
1 garlic clove (minced)
-
1 tbsp soy sauce
-
1/2 tsp sesame oil
-
Salt & pepper, to taste
-
Olive oil spray or melted butter (for brushing)
-
Chopped chives or green onions (for garnish)
Method
Prep the Filling Base:
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. This creamy mix is your flavor-packed base for that addictively savory filling.
Assemble the Cups:
Press wonton wrappers into mini muffin tins, forming little cups. Fill each with a teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture, then top with one shrimp. It’s cute, compact, and totally craveable!
Brush & Bake:
Lightly brush or spray wrappers with oil or butter. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes until the wonton edges are golden and crispy, and the shrimp is cooked through. This gives that crispy crunch with juicy center we all love.
Garnish & Serve:
Let cool slightly and sprinkle with chopped chives or green onions. These bites are super snackable and absolutely party-ready!
Dip Optional (but encouraged):
Serve with sweet chili sauce, soy ginger glaze, or sriracha mayo for the ultimate dipping experience.
