Basil Pesto
Serves 6

Electric hand whisk

Measuring jug for oil
Ingredients

2 packs or good bunches of Basil
-
1 large bunch or pack of Parsley
-
Generous handful of pine nuts
-
3-4 cloves garlic, chopped ( we like quite a lot and the flavour surprisingly gets lost in pasta!)

100g of grated Parmesan Cheese
-
150 ml good quality olive oil
-
Seasoning
Method
Combine all the ingredients into a food processor and whizz. You can adjust amounts according to taste, but this pasta has a super flavour and is very popular with this family!
Cook's Note
Store in the fridge for up to a week, or freeze for three months
